Gesine Bejeuhr,
PhD

Dr. Gesine Bejeuhr currently works for vfa, the German Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies, where she coordinates several expert groups (with a focus on regulatory affairs, production, quality, and environment), develops industry positions, and represents the association at the European level. She previously led Regulatory and Safety Intelligence for Grunenthal, and started her career as a State Inspector (for pharmacies, hospitals, and good manufacturing practices) at the national and international levels.

Dr. Bejeuhr served as Chair of the DIA Pediatric Community of the DIA Member and Volunteer Engagement Committee. She co-led the Development of Medicines for Paediatric and Elderly Populations theme for the 2012 and 2013 DIA EuroMeetings, and has been session chair for multiple DIA Annual Meetings and EuroMeetings. Additionally, Dr. Bejeuhr served for several years on the program committee for the annual DIA/European Forum for Good Clinical Practice/European Medicines Agency Paediatric Forum. During her service on the DIA Advisory Council of Europe, Dr. Bejeuhr was one of the initiators and program committee members for a series of complimentary Advisory Council of Europe workshops in Central and Eastern Europe.

Dr. Bejeuhr is a graduate of the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, School of Pharmacy, and earned her PhD from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn (Germany).
