Jeffrey S. Payne,
CPA, CGMA

Mr. Payne is the Chief Financial Officer of Katabat. Katabat is a leading customer experience management solutions company serving the consumer credit industry. Katabat’s platform is a diverse set of products built upon its proprietary strategy, workflow, and customer self-service engines. Prior to Katabat, Mr. Payne held various C level positions in the Life Science and Healthcare industries. He was formerly the Treasurer and SVP of Finance at Biocoat, Inc., a leading manufacturer of lubricious coatings for medical devices. He was also the CFO at Picwell Inc., a healthcare IT company that insurance carriers and brokers use to help consumers select the best healthcare plan.

Prior to Picwell, Mr. Payne was the CFO of Clinical Ink, an eClinical company providing electronic case report forms and patient retention and engagement. Mr. Payne was also the CFO of CRF Health, an international provider of eCOA solutions. During his tenure, CRF Health became the leading provider of eCOA solutions and Mr. Payne oversaw its successful sale to a London based private equity firm. Prior to that, Mr. Payne was the CFO of TRANZACT, a direct to consumer insurance marketing company. Mr. Payne was also the CFO and co-founder of The Credo Group which developed alternative Internet distribution channels for life and health insurance companies and was sold to TRANZACT. Mr. Payne was also the CFO of DiMark Marketing and began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Payne is a CPA and CGMA and holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Lehigh University.
