Kazumichi Kobayashi joined the regulatory affairs staff of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 1982. He was transferred to Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. to serve as an international regulatory affairs coordinator from 1996 – 1999. Upon his return to Japan, he was appointed Director of Regulatory Affairs for Otsuka Japan. He was thereafter assigned to serve as Corporate Officer, responsible for clinical development, quality and safety assurance, and regulatory affairs. In 2007, Mr. Kobayaski became the first Chief Executive Officer of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development and Commercialization Inc. in the US. From April 2012 to March 2015, he was loaned as a Senior Research Fellow to the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association’s Office of Pharmaceutical Industry Research. Mr. Kobayaski has worked for Otsuka Holdings Co, Ltd. since April 2015.
