Shinzo Hiroi

Shinzo Hiroi, PhD, serves as Head of Global Medical Affairs for Shionogi & Co., Ltd., Japan. Prior to Shionogi, Dr. Hiroi was responsible for Clinical Development for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where he was also appointed Senior Vice President of Clinical Science, Post-marketing Study Officer, and Head of Health Economics and Outcomes (HEOR) Research. He has also served as member of the DIA HEOR Community in Japan. A registered pharmacist, Dr. Hiroi studied economics at Keio University, and pharmacy and epidemiology at Kyoto University.
