Susan received her JD from Boston University School of Law, and her MPH from the University of Connecticut and began her career engaged in the private practice of law prior to moving into the pharmaceutical industry. During her pharmaceutical career, Susan has focused on patient and drug safety. In her current role at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, Susan focuses on Vendor and Alliance Management in the Global Drug Safety organization and is primarily responsible for the selection and management of outsourced providers of safety services. Throughout her career, Susan has led a number of vendor selection initiatives. She has successfully onboarded vendors, developed vendor governance, and managed vendor relationship.
