Is DIA Europe an in-person only event?

Yes, DIA Europe is going to be an in-person only event without the option to attend remotely.

What are the Health and Safety measures for DIA Europe?

Is registration open for DIA Europe 2023?

Yes, and we’d love to see you! You can register here.


Do you have a justification letter?

Yes, download and fill out our Justification letter to demonstrate to your supervisor, why this is a must-attend event.


Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?

Yes, if you can’t attend the meeting, you may transfer your registration to a colleague. Deadline for name change: 22 February 2023. In this case, please contact us.


What is the attendee cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be made in writing and be received at the DIA office in Basel four weeks prior to the event start date. Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee:

  • Industry (Member/Non-member) € 200.00
  • Academia/Charitable/Government/Non-profit (Full-time) (Member/Non-member) € 100.00

For cancellations after this date, or if the delegate fails to attend the meeting, no refund of fees will be given.


How do I access the event App?

The “My DIA” App is available (as of 1 March 2023) for all event participants (once the registration fee is paid – if applicable).
The app is available via the:

  • Tuesday, 21 March 13:00-17:00
  • Wednesday, 22 March 08:00-19:00
  • Thursday, 23 March 08:00-17:00
  • Friday, 24 March 08:00-16:30

How can I network?

In-person networking highlights:
  • All networking breaks, during coffee and lunch breaks
  • Speed Networking (First coffee break of the day, except on Wednesday – it’s the first afternoon coffee break time – at Networking Area)
  • Networking Reception (22 March 2023 18:30-19:30)
  • Schedule your 1:1 meetings via the DIA Europe event platform / My DIA App (Available: 1 March – 31 May 2023)
  • AI-powered matchmaking functionality, will enable you to contact and schedule meetings with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors. Additionally, there is a Chat and Audio/Video call option available.

Is DIA Europe 2023 Accredited?

Yes, the event received accreditation from 2 organizations:
  • SwAPP (Swiss Association of Pharmaceutical Professionals) 15 CPD credits for live session participation and another 68 CPD may be claimed for watching recordings.
  • Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine 83 CPD

Certificates will be available via the online event platform at the latest by Friday, 31 March 2023.

How can I claim my certificate?

Certificates will be available via the online event platform at the latest by Friday, 31 March 2023.


Will the sessions be recorded and available afterwards?

Most of the sessions (except: Poster Sessions, Innovation Hub Presentations) are going to be recorded and made available on the DIA Europe online event platform / My DIA App for registered participants. The platform is going to close on the 31 May 2023.


Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

If you follow a special diet or have food/beverage allergies, please let us know so we can make sure that we are accommodating your needs. The submitted information is going to be confidentially handled by DIA Staff and the dedicated caterer.
