Session 6 Track 2: Future of the Clinical Study Report

The goal of this session is to discuss the evolution and future of the clinical study report (CSR). Medical Writing (MW) is one of the few functional areas in a clinical trial driven by people, not technology; however, there are companies piloting a CSR-less submissions. In this session, we have invited the company leading this effort to have a conversation on the future of the clinical study report and what role MW will play in the future regarding clinical study report production.
Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Assess a study and evaluate the feasibility of the clinical study report
- Evaluate the role of the medical writer as it applies to the clinical study report
- Describe how artificial intelligence may be applied to medical writing in the future
