The COVID Era has resulted in unprecedented levels and types of health communications directed at health care professionals, patients, and the public. This session will first examine challenges from the pandemic. Then, we will review key principles in developing effective communications and will explore methods for effectively engaging communities in discussions about vaccines, therapeutics and uncertainty. How to overcome communication barriers and ensure individuals can make informed decisions regarding optimal health for themselves, their families and the larger community.
