DIA 2021 Global Annual Meeting

There is no doubt that there is a need for, and a willingness to provide, more transparent and meaningful patient information. The last few years have seen more plain language information mandated by the pharmaceutical industry regulations, and whilst this has largely been embraced by the industry, the wide variety in quality of the information currently available attests to the challenges faced in providing fit for purpose, high-quality medical information aimed at the general public.
