DIA 2021 Global Annual Meeting

Decentralized and hybrid clinical trials involve more than apps and digital tools. As the industry evolves from the traditional site-based research model to more decentralized study conduct, we must be mindful of the impact of pushing burden downstream to investigators and patients. We will share patient and site perspectives related to decentralization and explore operationalizing these studies considering the impact on regulatory, quality, supply management, and data harmonization.
