Yoshiko Komuro

Dr. Yoshiko Komuro serves as an Inspector Director in Office of Non-clinical and Clinical Compliance in PMDA. She joined PMDA in 2006 and had been working as a reviewer of neurology and psychiatry drugs. In April of 2012, she started to work in Translational Research Center in the University of Tokyo Hospital as an assistant professor. She returned to PMDA in April 2014, and engaged in a review of drugs for Alzheimer’s diseases and Parkinson’s diseases, etc. She moved to current office in July 2017 and is responsible for the management of GCP on-site inspection and international affairs of GCP. She received her Ph.D from Graduate School of Pharmaceutical science, the University of Tokyo in 2006. Her specialized field was molecular biology.
