Irene Cosmatos, MS

Ms. Cosmatos is an experienced epidemiologist who leads UBC’s team of real-world data epidemiologists. She and her team support UBC’s work which involves the use of diverse, observational healthcare databases, registries, or patient medical charts to answer sponsors' research questions. She brings more than 25 years of experience in analyses of large, retrospective patient databases across all therapeutic areas, US and non-US, in support of epidemiologic and health outcomes research.
Michael Bulgrien
Data Analytics Project Manager, UBC, United States
Mr. Bulgrien has 25 years of experience spanning application design and development to automation of product deployment and configuration activities. Michael works hand-in-hand with UBC research scientists to understand and define business and functional requirements for UBC’s healthcare analytical software. His subject matter expertise in medical terminologies and product configuration contributes to UBC’s ability to meet the challenges of healthcare data analytics with innovative and thoughtful solutions. Michael grew the majority of his technical expertise working in client-server healthcare database application development and support. Michael began his current role with the UBC database analytics automation team in January 2011.
Rebecca Levin, MPH
Senior Research Scientist, Database Automation Analytics, UBC, An Express Scripts Company, United States
Ms. Levin provides guidance and oversight on methodology and external data sources, and is responsible for supporting the development of the protocol and SAP as it pertains to the custom SAS analysis. She will manage or perform programming and analysis as warranted to the custom SAS analytics activities. Rebecca provides 14 years of pharmacy benefit manager research and analytics experience within Express Scripts/Medco/UBC. Her responsibilities have included performing outcomes studies for clients on issues such as plan design changes and effects on adherence and health outcomes. She has authored studies on health services research and has presented a number of abstracts at National meetings.
Maneesh Juneja
Health Data Consultant, MJ Analytics Limited, United Kingdom
He has worked with data for 20 years, of which the last 13 years has been with real world data within life sciences. He spent 9 years at GSK R&D working with the leading American and European health insurance claims & EHR databases generating evidence to support decision making in drug development and drug safety. He left GSK in 2012, and works in London as an independent consultant.
