Here is your Next Step: Registration and Vaccination Proof
The COVID-19 pandemic is constantly changing, but DIA’s commitment to the health and safety of our constituents remains consistent. Because of DIA’s unwavering commitment to protecting and preserving public health we have made the decision that all participants at in-person DIA Meetings, Workshops, Forums and Conferences, whether a presenter, attendee, exhibitor, staff, guest, or vendor, are required to be fully vaccinated.
Participants must provide proof of vaccination after registering for an in-person event.” The CDC’s definition of “fully vaccinated” is a person who has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines and is two weeks past their final dose of the primary series. In the US, the primary series is defined as two doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, two doses of Moderna, one dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen. Our vaccine verification software can accept and review international vaccine dosages. DIA strongly encourages all attendees to stay up to date on vaccinations, which means receiving the booster dose(s) when eligible, as extra protection.
For any participant who is unable to be vaccinated due to disability or medical condition, or in connection with a sincerely held religious belief or practice please reach out to NAEvents@DIAglobal.org to see if accommodation can be made. DIA recognizes and respects that all who choose to participate will make the best decision for themselves and will be responsible for their own choices.
CrowdPass Information: Please ensure you submit your proof of vaccination at least 3 business days prior to the meeting. If you have not cleared the vaccine screening and received an approval email, you will be required to provide vaccination proof and government issued photo ID at the registration desk
Upon completion of your registration, please upload your vaccination record to DIA Canada Annual Meeting Crowdpass Health Screening Form to ensure a safe and speedy check in process at your upcoming meeting! Once you have completed the health and safety screening via crowdpass.co, you will receive an approval email with a “green check” from crowdpass.co. DIA will also be informed of your approval and have your Badge in the Pre-Approval Registration area of the Registration Desk. Please note, DIA does not have access to your submissions to CrowdPass.
All attendees who have completed the crowpass.co approval process and have received the Crowdpass approval “green check” email can proceed directly to the registration desk to pick up your badge right away!
All attendees who have not completed crowdpass.co health screening should come to the health-screening desk prior to picking up conference badges. Please come prepared to provide Government issued photo ID and proof that you have received all primary vaccinations at least (2) weeks before the convention. We are able to accept proof of the following vaccination Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen/J&J, AstraZeneca, Covaxin, Covishield, BIBP/Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Novavax/Covovax.
DIA will require and enforce that all individuals must wear a mask indoors unless you are actively eating, drinking, or presenting in a session.
As agreed during registration, if you are feeling sick or experiencing COVID-like symptoms prior to traveling to or while on-site at the meeting, you will stay home. If need you need assistance transferring your registration, please contact NAevents@DIAglobal.org This information can be found in the Event Safety Code of Conduct section of the Terms & Conditions found on the “Register” tab.
