Michelle is very passionate about Med Info & Med Affairs and is highly motivated by innovative, customer centric ways to support healthcare and non-healthcare professionals around the world to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

Peter is Director of Business Planning and Communications (EMEA) in Pfizer Medical Information, supporting global and regional operations, and leading their Global Customer Engagement Strategy. Peter has worked in Pfizer MI for over 15 years, covering numerous roles and responsibilities during this time. He is a passionate advocate for MI, the work MI does and the value that it provides to both the customer and the company.

Sarah is a Medical Operations Consultant working with Medical Information, Affairs and Compliance professionals, applying skills in clinical pharmacy and experience as a Regional Director and Cluster Senior Manager. She has partnered many teams and led a wide range of initiatives, e.g. catalysing complex projects; auditing and improving processes; developing clear operating frameworks; evaluating and implementing novel technologies; upskilling multi-cultural, cross functional groups; and effecting change. A Pharmacist and Medical Signatory, Sarah sustainably improves business and patient outcomes. She is a past President of PIPA, founding member of the MILE body, and has supported the DIA as a committee member and session chair since 2008.

Marie-Luise is the Head of Europe Medical Information at Sanofi. Before, she has led Medical Information for Sanofi in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Besides ensuring high-quality Medical Information for all customers and products, she is working on inclusion of new digital media in the Medinfo channel mix. She is the Co-founder of the subcommittee Medical Information of the industry association (VFA) in Germany. Before joining Medical Information she has gained experience in Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and as a Qualified Person in Quality.

Sabine Lischka-Wittmann, PhD is currently the European Medical Information Director for Eli Lilly & Company. She was previously the Senior Manager of the Medical Information and Medical Liaisons teams in Germany. Sabine is a highly experienced Medical Information manager: she has managed the German team for over 20 years. Sabine has lead numerous projects across the European region during her role as a European MedInfo Coordinator, including the implementation of Virtual MedInfo Teams in Europe to increase productivity, a quality assurance system for MedInfo responses, and the harmonization of process flows in this function. Sabine has presented at the DIA US Medical Communications workshop as well as the European Med Info conference.

Isabelle Widmer, MD is a life science consultant and coach based in Europe. Isabelle supports teams in both Fortune 500 companies and biotech to deliver global transformation programmes in Medical Affairs and Med Info. Combining an entrepreneurial mindset, analytical and project management skills with the ability to design and implement tailored solutions, Isabelle takes pride in proposing pragmatic, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. A published author, frequent conference presenter, recent Programme Director at Basel University in postgraduate education in pharmaceutical medicine and a Program Committee member for the DIA Annual European Medical Information and Communications Meeting she is passionate about continuing education.

Paola is currently the Medical Education &Digital manager in the Oncology Business Unit of Novartis Italy, with long experience in the Medical Affairs function. She has worked for over 15 years, covering roles and responsibilities in Novartis Italy, from clinical trial manager to medical info & communication manager, previously in Pierre Fabre group and IQVIA (ex-Quintiles). A frequent medical writer for scientific publications and conference presenter, Paola is very passionate about medical communication and digital activities, working on inclusion of new digital tools and channels in the Med Affairs team, to support internal and external customers to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.

Jürgen W.G. Bentz is the Head of Medical Information & Patient Support of UCB. In his current role, Jürgen oversights the provision of medical information and patient support to generate the best induvial experience for every patient, caregiver, or health care professional. Jürgen is enthusiastic about the well-being of people suffering from severe diseases and looking into all facets to provide the right solution to the right patient at the right time. During his professional career, Jürgen worked as scientific journalist, and contributed for more than 20 years to the well-being of patients in multiple medical, clinical and operational roles with increasing responsibility.

Kaloyan Bilyarski is responsible for implementing and leading 15 new affiliates, part of PPD’s European medical information contact centre. His duties include quality standards, budget management and client relationship. Additionally, he works with PPD’s global account initiative on alignment of medical information service across regions. Kaloyan joined PPD with eight years in contact centre operations. His experience includes insourcing and outsourcing contact centers, developing operational excellence, onboarding and knowledge transfer programs, process improvement and client satisfaction in BPO, customer service, telecommunications, automotive and IT industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Industrial Management.

Angela is Sr Manager with long experience in Medical Information. She has leaded Medical Information and Scientific Communication teams in Spain and since 2014 leads a multinational, multilingual and virtual Medical Information team in Europe, focused in implementing digital transformation. She is a teacher at the Health Evaluation and Access to Market Master (University Carlos III Madrid) and is a member of the MEDES committee; Medical Literature Database in Spanish. During 7 years she coordinated the Medical Information working group in AMIFE; the Spanish Association of Medical Professionals from the pharmaceutical industry.

Celia is an experienced MI consultant and Project Manager, supporting both the industry and providers on a range of projects from outsourcing to training curriculum development. She has worked in several global senior positions within Medical Information over the last few years. Celia loves that there is always something new to discover about Med Info and is herself passionate about sharing her enthusiasm for the field! Her specific areas of interest are on how to best transform information to improve understanding, and how to approach innovation and technology with pragmatism and purpose to meet all stakeholders requirements.

Box provides strategic insights across the life sciences industry, with a focus on optimizing the execution of clinical trials. He spent 18 years in the CRO industry, holding leadership roles in statistics, statistical programming, data management and information technology. Throughout his career, he's used analytics and simulation to improve business processes across all aspects of an organization. Prior to joining his current team, Box spent a year with the SAS Solutions OnDemand Advanced Analytics Lab, working with customers on fraud detection, forecasting and modeling projects.

Jennifer Liang is part of the global medical information team at Bayer and is responsible for systems and digital initiatives. She has been working in the area of medical information and pharmacovigilance for close to 15 years and has a great interest in digital transformation within the medical communications field.

Sebastian is a Regional Senior Manager in Medical Information Operations at Gilead for Australia, Canada and Europe. In his current role he is responsible for the contact center in the region, process improvement, quality of the MI service and is involved in the development and implementation of new MI technology solutions. Prior to joining Gilead, Sebastian has worked in MI at local, regional and global level in multiple pharma companies in Spain, Ireland and United Kingdom. His experience includes first line MI at country level, creating of MI content for global organizations and project management. Sebastian is passionate about MI and the contribution that MI makes to improve patients life.

Global Medical Information operational strategist & functional excellence lead with extensive experience in transforming business intelligence, customer insights and functional training programs into high impact, high visibility operations; thereby increasing the MI function’s value position. She earned her PhD in Marine Biology training in genetic and molecular methods for drug discovery. Rashel has broad experience developing effective learning journeys and managing big data. She has developed technical methods that have enhanced data extraction from challenging sources. She is highly motivated to communicate and implement meaningful change with reliable data, education, and effective solutions.

Katie started with TransPerfect 12 years ago in New York City. She moved to London in 2009 to oversee some of TransPerfect’s key life sciences clients across Europe. She is responsible for helping companies create meaningful customer experiences. She manages a team of incredible life sciences account management professionals across Europe. Passionate about driving gender parity in healthcare, Katie sits on the Healthcare Businesswomen Association UK board and oversees Volunteer Engagement and Membership.

A clinical pharmacist by background, Dr. Petra Schultz has 14 years of experience in healthcare technology, including leading clinical drug content development, academic relationships, and product management for the Micromedex® portfolio. Prior to transitioning to healthcare technology, Dr. Schultz practiced and held academic appointments in clinical drug information services, drug use policy, and pharmacy outcomes at the Medical University of South Carolina, Mayo Clinic, and the University of Florida.

Sudy brings to the position a successful track record of over 15 years that includes working with the top global pharma and Medical device companies. He is based out of Los Angeles, California. Sudy has a diverse business background in Lifesciences industry including, Medical Devices, Pharma and Biotechnology. He has been with Indegene for 10 years and has been at the forefront of setting up the Medical Affairs and Material Review practice.
