Kerry Ann Rogers will cover the identified need, key benefits, challenges, identified solutions, design, pilot and roll-out of the labelling bot. The presentation will also look at Pfizer’s UK Medical Information Virtual Assistant, the first to be integrated into a live-chat channel and available to access via external non Company websites. The triage style chatbot is accessible to Health Care Professionals and members of the General Public. The Virtual Assistant provides a 24x7 channel for customer interaction. It also has a separate flow to provide answers on COVID-19 Vaccine related topics such as vaccines supply, storage and stability.

Thorsten Rothweiler will share their experience if Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology can be supportive in answering a complex medical request sent by an HCP. The Scientific Information Specialists (SIS) cover around 1.000 literature research requests annually in the German Affiliate. Out of hundreds of papers they need to find the right and most relevant papers based on questions coming from HCPs and Medical Management regarding Roche products to improve patient treatment. This presentation will show you that there is a true benefit in using NLP technology within the area of literature requests and how we managed to build up a cross functional team that is currently finalizing their first working MVP named RoboResearcher.
