Healthcare systems in Europe are transforming through integrated approaches to deliver a personalised, sustainable healthcare system. Medicines remain an important part of an ecosystem that is evolving to embrace disruptive innovations: convergence between innovative drugs and / diagnostics / apps / algorithms; patients’ engagement in the social media era. This session will look at an emerging view of patients’ and society’s expectations for healthcare in 2030 and will focus on the role of stakeholders involved in the development of innovative medicines and those responsible for ensuring patient access.
