Peter is Director of Business Planning and Communications (EMEA) in Pfizer Medical Information, supporting global and regional operations, and leading their Global Customer Engagement Strategy. Peter has worked in Pfizer MI for over 15 years, covering numerous roles and responsibilities during this time. He is a passionate advocate for MI, the work MI does and the value that it provides to both the customer and the company.

Janet is responsible for the Medical Information function in the European region, which responds to requests from healthcare professionals and patients about Gilead’s medicines. She is a Nominated Medical Signatory for Gilead. Janet is recognised globally as a leader in Medical Information in the pharmaceutical industry. She is an active member of PIPA (Pharmaceutical Information and Pharmacovigilance Association) and the DIA. She chaired the annual DIA Medical Information and Communications conference in Europe from 2006 to 2011, 2016 to 2019. In 2012 Janet was given an Outstanding Service award by the DIA. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2017 in recognition of her contribution to pharmacy.

Simon Johns has over 25 years of experience supporting global pharmaceutical customer projects. As Director of Medical Information (MI) and Marketed Product Safety at IQVIA, he manages global MI projects focused on process optimization and technology enablement to drive enhanced efficiency and customer engagement. Simon is a member of the European DIA Medical Information and Communications Training Team, advising pharmaceutical companies on best industry practices, innovation and automation. He speaks regularly on topics ranging from combined human and AI conversational agent models for MI to the benefits and increased value of integrating MI and pharmacovigilance.

Isabelle Widmer, MD is a life science consultant and coach based in Europe. Isabelle supports teams in both Fortune 500 companies and biotech to deliver global transformation programmes in Medical Affairs and Med Info. Combining an entrepreneurial mindset, analytical and project management skills with the ability to design and implement tailored solutions, Isabelle takes pride in proposing pragmatic, sustainable and cost-effective solutions. A published author, frequent conference presenter, recent Programme Director at Basel University in postgraduate education in pharmaceutical medicine and a Program Committee member for the DIA Annual European Medical Information and Communications Meeting she is passionate about continuing education.

After completing his medical studies and a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology in South Africa, Danie spent 3 years working in a primary care setting including his own private practice. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1991 and held roles of increasing responsibility and leadership, most recently as Senior Vice President and Head of Worldwide Medical Affairs at GlaxoSmithKline. He is registered with the medical councils in the UK and South Africa. He is the President of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region of the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS), on the Executive Leadership Committee of MAPS and an affiliate member of the Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision (APECS).

Doug Dykeman is a senior research scientist at the IBM Research laboratory in Zurich Switzerland, where he works in the area of Cognitive Computing and Industry Solutions. His current focus area is the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the area of medical decision support. This area brings special challenges since doctors and patients need to understand the results of the AI systems so that they will trust them. In the past Doug has worked on research and development for IT-security technologies and networking. He has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Siva currently manages the AETracker and Social businesses at IQVIA. Previously, Siva was founder and CEO of Semantelli, a healthcare focused social media analytics and compliance start-up that was acquired by IQVIA. Siva was recognized for uncovering two major internet security holes in the early days of internet, which forever changed how people accessed secured sites from public computers. Siva owns a US Patent on “Multidimensional profiling of Healthcare professionals” and speaks on topics ranging from AI in healthcare to bigdata compliance.

Katie started with TransPerfect 12 years ago in New York City. She moved to London in 2009 to oversee some of TransPerfect’s key life sciences clients across Europe. She is responsible for helping companies create meaningful customer experiences. She manages a team of incredible life sciences account management professionals across Europe. Passionate about driving gender parity in healthcare, Katie sits on the Healthcare Businesswomen Association UK board and oversees Volunteer Engagement and Membership.

Jason is a Managing Partner at 3vue, LLC. He is a developer by trade, but his interpersonal skills, consultative sales approach, and ability to architect dynamic solutions have aided 3vue’s success. He starting his career in the financial retirement outsourcing sector with Aon Hewitt and Lincoln Financial Group (LFG). In 2006, he transitioned to the Life Science industry with a focus in Medical Information, joining Online Business Applications (OBA), makers of IRMS. Jason co-founded 3vue, LLC in 2009 and has been a driving force behind 3vue’s success and rapid growth within Life Science. Jason and 3vue are engaged with 6 of the top 25 Life Science organizations and are recognized as the leader in Medical Affairs analytics.

Dominique has been with TransPerfect for nearly 3 years and has over 27 years’ experience in the localisation and multilingual content management industry, including the last 15 years at SDL, where he helped large organisations designing and deploying their localisation and content strategies across all content types. He is responsible for strategic sales and account management with complex services and technology solutions, and he has helped to support global localization strategies for many of TransPerfect’s top life sciences accounts. He is based in Barcelona.

Maren Stindt is a Medical Communication and Information expert in the pharmaceutical industry. After completing her training as biochemist and cancer research scientist, she gathered additional experience in change management within Medical Affairs. Heading the Global Medical Information Operations Group at Merck, she now drives innovation and digitization in the field of Medical Information at the company with the aim of meeting the needs of our current and future customers to ultimately enable the best possible patient care.

Currently working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (based in Zurich) within Global Medical Information as lead for Europe and Canada. 17 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry in Medical Information leadership, management, product specialist, and operational roles at local affiliate level, European region and global levels. In these positions, I have worked in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, my career started as a production pharmacist in South Africa.
