Patient Support Programs play an important role in assisting patients with their prescribed medication and they also contribute to a brands’ retention strategies. The programs can add value by ensuring patients obtain access to the therapy, correctly use the therapy, and continue to stay on therapy throughout all stages of their disease progression. However, communication in this area can be complicated as companies want to provide information without coming across as promotional.
