The costs of performing large cardiovascular outcomes trials is prohibitive and constraining to development of new molecular entities. We will describe novel electronic techniques that can add to trial rigor and efficiency while reducing costs.
Learning Objective : Identify challenges specific to large outcomes trials that can be addressed with novel electronic, web-based approaches; Describe the operation of electronic systems that add efficiency and reduce costs in large outcomes trials.
