This closing plenary will link all prior sessions into a practical roadmap for transforming scientific innovation into measurable patient access outcomes across Africa. The session will examine the “last-mile” challenge: the barriers that prevent innovation from reaching patients at scale. Through perspectives from regulators, industry, payers, health systems and implementation experts, the session will identify practical solutions to accelerate adoption, reimbursement, distribution and equitable access. The discussion will culminate in a call to action for cross-sector collaboration to ensure that innovations developed for Africa reach the patients who need them most.
