Meaningful patient access requires designing with patients and communities, not simply around them. This session will explore approaches to incorporating patient and community perspectives across clinical research, evidence generation, regulatory processes, communication, and efforts to improve patient access. Discussions will consider patient advisory boards, patient organizations, advocacy, education, and representation as practical mechanisms for incorporating patient needs, experiences, and priorities throughout the medical product lifecycle.
