SESSION OVERVIEW:As healthcare innovation becomes increasingly global, the most successful regulatory systems will be those that combine international collaboration with the agility to pioneer new approaches. The UK has a unique opportunity to work alongside trusted international partners to accelerate patient access, support innovation and help shape the future of regulation. Through initiatives such as the Access Consortium and other international partnerships, regulators are demonstrating how collaboration can improve efficiency, reduce duplication and strengthen confidence in regulatory decision-making, while emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced therapies, innovative clinical trials and real-world evidence present new opportunities for regulatory leadership.
Bringing together senior leaders from international regulatory authorities and industry, this interactive session will explore how global collaboration and UK leadership can work together to create greater value for patients, innovators and healthcare systems. Through live audience polling, expert discussion and debate, delegates will explore where collaboration delivers the greatest benefit, where the UK is well placed to lead, and how regulation can support the development, launch and adoption of innovative healthcare products.
SESSION IMPACT:Attendees will gain practical insights into how international regulatory collaboration is evolving and what this means for future development and authorisation strategies. They will hear directly from global regulatory leaders and industry representatives on where collaboration is delivering measurable benefits today, where new opportunities are emerging, and how the UK can continue to play a leading role in shaping the future regulatory environment. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how the UK can combine international collaboration with regulatory leadership to support innovation, attract investment and deliver earlier patient access to new technologies.
