Session Chair(s)
Fahd Khan
Director Business Development
OrciMed Life Science Private Limited, India
The conventional methodology of pharmaceutical research and development throughout the 20th century was predicated upon the identification of therapeutics that targeted the general population. However, as time progressed, it became increasingly apparent that individuals possess unique genetic characteristics that result in variations in their response to treatment. As a result, there has been a gradual paradigm shift, away from the traditional "one-size-fits-all" approach, towards a more individualized, patient-centric methodology. The contemporary paradigm of medicine, referred to as P4 medicine, encompasses elements of prediction, prevention, participation, and personalization, and while it poses a plethora of challenges, it also presents a plethora of opportunities for the enhancement of healthcare outcomes and treatment efficacy. This Session brings forth interesting discussions from Industry though leaders.
