Joint Session 1: Building bridges to accelerate Patients’ access, part 2

Following up on the previous session, part 2 will explore healthcare systems performance in South-Eastern Europe participating countries, within the framework of key measurement indicators used across the EU. The session will introduce W.A.I.T indicator and discuss gaps in patients’ access to medicine with respect to participating countries.
Further, we will explore the readiness of the countries for resilient healthcare systems, look at the level of investment into healthcare, and discuss how to start closing the gaps between the EU and the countries.
