ACCESS TRACK - Session 1: Accelerating Patients’ Access
Session Chair(s)
Ana Petrovic
Managing Director, Association of Research-Based Medicine Producers in Bosnia & Herzegovina (UIPL), Bosnia and Herzegovina
Patients’ access to medicines is the ultimate goal to ensure that medical innovation is translated into healthcare benefits. Involvement of patients into the decision-making processes during the various steps of Market Access is essential to ensure that decision-makers are operating in a consistent and transparent manner. New data measuring the timeline from registration to patients’ access highlights the current long lag time within the SEE region. Patients from local and international level will discuss solutions to potentially better address current short comings to speed up access.
