The rise of digital, combined with increasing data and analytics capabilities, has been transforming the healthcare industry in recent years. This transformation has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. To be successful in the “next normal” companies are adopting flexible, agile operating models that allow for rapid response to patient and customer needs, and the ability to quickly innovate, test and learn. This session provides an overview of agile ways of working for those with little to no previous exposure to this methodology.
Learning Objective : Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Define agile
- Explain how the agile methodology works and what differentiates it from traditional planning approaches
- Discuss potential applications and the benefits of agile in planning and executing projects
