With increased involvement of patients in their own healthcare outcomes, there is a need to create medical product information that is readily accessible and understandable to both healthcare providers and patients. This session will describe a vision for eLabelling platforms, tools and a blueprint to create health literate patient medication information. Lessons learnt will be relevant to drug developers, healthcare providers, patients and regulators.

Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
  • Describe the opportunities and challenges of e-labeling for all stakeholders
  • Describe the importance and value of health literacy in creation of patient medication information
  • Describe best practices in implementing e-labeling and health literacy globally
