This forum will discuss how with the recent changes of regulatory and marketing practices, safety surveillance, cost, and delivery of information, the traditional medical affairs paradigm has certainly evolved from a supportive entity to the central focal point with new emerging roles and responsibilities that will continue to evolve in the coming years to communicate more effectively both internally and externally with healthcare providers to better demonstrate the value of their medicines.
Learning Objective : Discuss the current and future state of medical affair and how different roles within the organization can support advancements patient care; Assess new emerging roles that are implemented within medical affairs; Evaluate innovative new strategies that could empower Medical Affairs professionals to meet future challenges and opportunities in healthcare; Identify areas to develop skill sets for new opportunities in medical affairs.
