Use of eSource in the clinical development and research field is progressing very slowly, illustrating the many obstacles and challenges ahead of its implementation. However, eSource promises to be a more efficient data collection method that will ultimately benefit patients, sponsors, and medical institutions. In this session, we will discuss issues related to using eSource and the cooperative activities among industry, government, and academia necessary to overcome current circumstances.
