A “big bang” of disruption is occurring where hardware, wearable gadgets and new medical technologies have raised the level of health care innovation including opportunities to advance research and connecting patients to their care. These discoveries have challenged regulatory science where existing organizations have become agile as trends and competition increases and where regulations are in need of review and constant update.
