As the leading global platform for the life sciences community, the DIA 2027 Global Annual Meeting is where the world’s experts (industry, regulators, academia, and patients) come together to exchange ideas and drive meaningful progress in healthcare. Thousands of professionals across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, diagnostics, and medical devices will gather to explore innovations that improve health worldwide.
We encourage abstract submissions that look ahead to what’s next (trends, tools, and transformative ideas), as well as those that share real-world case studies, advance diversity and inclusion, center the patient voice, and accelerate innovation. Whether you’re sharing a big-picture vision or day-to-day strategies, your work can help reimagine the future of healthcare.

- Drug Development for Chronic Disease
- Innovative Approaches to Clinical Trials
- Personalized Medicine
- Cell and Gene Therapy: CMC Standards, Regulatory Harmonization, and Improving Patient Access

Selection priority will be given to abstracts that:
- Align with one or more of the DIA priority areas (whether through novel approaches, collaborative models, or bold scientific inquiry)
- Offer engaging, nontraditional approaches to content delivery

General Submission Requirements
Please read the following instructions carefully; incorrect or incomplete abstracts will not be considered:
- All abstracts must be submitted online. The deadline is Thursday, September 17, 11:59 PM ET.
- Submitted abstracts must not overtly endorse or recommend a specific product or service. Please review DIA's Policy Concerning Promotion of Products and Services.
- The abstract title must reflect the abstract content accurately and concisely.
- Co-Chairs and Co-Presenters (two speakers presenting the same content) are not permitted.
- The author of the accepted abstract will receive a one-day complimentary registration for the day of their scheduled presentation. A special upgrade fee will be available for those attending the full meeting.
Timeline
- August 3: Call for Abstracts opens
- September 17: Call for Abstracts closes
- End of January 2027: Abstract Notification
Please note that DIA and the 2027 Annual Meeting Program Committee may request authors to revise abstracts, including changes to topic, merging with another session, or adjusting difficulty level.
