Dr. David Fajgenbaum
David Fajgenbaum Co-Founder & President, Every Cure MD, MBA, MSc

David C. Fajgenbaum is an American immunologist, physician-scientist, and author who transformed the treatment of Castleman disease after nearly dying from the illness himself. An associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania, he co-founded the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network and Every Cure, pioneering AI-driven drug repurposing.

His memoir, Chasing My Cure, chronicles his journey from patient to innovator, advancing treatments for rare diseases and earning global recognition including TIME100 Health 2025.

Maria Vassileva
Maria Vassileva Chief Science & Regulatory Officer DIA

Dr. Vassileva has decades of experience managing complex multi-stakeholder biomedical research programs. She spent most of her career in the nonprofit sector, leading the Science Team at the Arthritis Foundation, and working at the Foundation for NIH and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

She was also on the leadership teams of two health research organizations, serving as project director on multiple government contracts. Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal, metabolic, immunity and inflammation disorders, as well as patient engagement. She received her PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Johns Hopkins.

Rahul Gupta
Rahul Gupta President GATC Health

Dr. Gupta was appointed as President of GATC Health in February 2025. He served as the first medical doctor to serve as the White House Director of National Drug Control Policy and lead the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), a component of the Executive Office of the President, from 2021 until January 2025.

He previously served as a local public health official and as the West Virginia Health Commissioner under two governors, where he led the opioid crisis response and launched a number of pioneering public health initiatives. He is currently a practicing physician and clinical professor at Georgetown University Medical School.

Tomas Philipson
Tomas Philipson Daniel Levin Professor of Public Policy Studies University of Chicago

Tomas J. Philipson is an economist who served as the Acting Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Trump administration. He departed from the position and the Council at the end of June, 2020, to return to the University of Chicago where he holds the Daniel Levin Chair in Public Policy.

He has been a visiting faculty member at Yale University and a visiting fellow at The World Bank. Philipson served in the George W. Bush administration as the senior economic advisor to the Commissioner of Food and Drugs (the head of the Food and Drug Administration), and subsequently as the senior economic advisor to the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
