RNA therapeutics offer broad target potential with durable therapeutic effects. The field has moved toward tissue- and cell-type-specific delivery, opening the door to lower dose levels, more convenient routes of administration, and reduced off-target liabilities. Our keynote speaker, Bryan Laffitte, PhD, Head of Genetic Medicine at Novartis and former Chief Scientific Officer of DTx Pharma, will share insights from advancing RNA delivery platforms from early discovery through clinical translation and acquisition. Attendees will leave with a clear view of receptor identification methods and the approaches shaping the next generation of precision RNA therapeutics, work that is bringing the field closer to lower doses, more convenient administration, and fewer off-target effects.

Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
  • Define advantages of cell or tissue targeting approaches
  • Describe methods for identification of cell or tissue targeting receptors
  • Explain cutting edge approaches in RNA therapeutics
