The goal of this session is to answer the question, “how should scientific communications professionals prepare to be continually relevant in this fast-changing environment?” As we transition from traditional roles, what skills are needed to ensure our success? This session will discuss the changing responsibilities of the scientific communications professional and explore the impacts to internal collaborations, innovation, and career growth.
Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Explore the external and internal factors that are shifting the work of scientific professional
- Identify key areas of upskilling for scientific professionals
- Develop a strategic plan for growth and development
