Key challenges in running clinical trials include bringing awareness to, attracting, enrolling and maintaining the engagement of patients throughout the trial. Pediatric and adolescent trials often have unique challenges and considerations and require added support and family engagement to support the sites with appropriately obtaining consent/assent, educating patients and maintaining compliance to protocol requirements.
