Decentralized Clinical Trials: from Nice-to-have to Must-have

Decentralized clinical trials (DCT) is not a new topic and has been explored by the industry for years. Yet, in the COVID-19 pandemic, when patients around the world are expected to stay at home, remote care and trial delivery enabled by digital technologies and local care teams is being assessed and adopted with increasing urgency. In this session, we will discuss the best practices for establishing the infrastructure and processes to support DCT implementation, as well as diving into the policies and regulations, as well the QMS around conducting clinical trials in a virtual or hybrid setting.
