[S35] The Appropriate Use of Drugs in Asia Countries, Especially Elder Patients

Although Japan is famous for centenarian population, the aging of population is a common problem in Asia. Weight fluctuations and organ dysfunction associated with aging are wellknown facts. However, only few of the drug package inserts include information about the elderly. We will share the current status of the appropriate use of drugs for the elderly and cautionary statements included in package inserts in the aging Asian countries and consider more appropriate pharmacotherapy for the elderly by cooperating with other Asian countries that are experiencing the same situation.
