This session will discuss emerging issues related to gene editing, including standards for off-target effects, immunogenicity issues , and DNA base editors.

Learning Objective : Describe potential concerns related to immune responses in gene editing; Discuss the concept of on-target and off-target genome editing, and collaborative approaches to address this issue; Identify the difference between gene editing that involves making a double-stranded break in DNA versus DNA base editors that do not.
