This session provides a fun overview of the basics of project management for clinical trial execution. We will use well-established project management principles and methodologies as a basis for comparison with innovative approaches that have the potential for improved effectiveness using case studies and lessons learned.
Learning Objective : Describe fundamental components of at least one project management methodology for managing a clinical trial; Compare and contrast differences between project management approaches; Evaluate when one method may be beneficial and when other approaches should be considered.
