Francisca Reyes-Turcu

Dr. Reyes Turcu is a team leader in the Division of Molecular Genetics and Pathology (DMGP), in the Office of In Vitro Diagnostics at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH)., U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She has served at FDA since 2016 as a scientific reviewer, a senior scientific reviewer and currently as a team leader. Dr. Reyes Turcu reviews submissions for molecular genetic In Vitro Diagnostic Devices (IVDs) and companion diagnostics. Dr. Reyes Turcu received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Developmental Biology from Emory University. She completed her post-doctoral training at the NCI/NIH. Prior to her position in CDRH she joined a biotechnology firm, where she was involved in assay development.
