  NEW for 2019! Exhibitor Talent Show
Are you looking for a fun way to attract attendees to your booth? Do you or one of your colleagues have a talent you'd like to share? DIA is looking for talented exhibitors to participate in our first exhibitor talent show!

Maybe you can play an instrument, perform spoken word, sing a song, do a dance, tell jokes (just make sure to keep it clean), or even perform a magical act that will make your colleague disappear!

Each exhibitor will have a 3-5 minute spot on either Tuesday or Wednesday during the coffee service that precedes the first session. A small stage and sound system will be available each day. It's free to participate, and you'll receive recognition (name, company, logo, talent) on the Talent Show Schedule which will be displayed throughout the week. Have a colleague post a video of your performance at the talent show on your Social Media accounts. Be creative! Maybe you can incorporate your company name, products, or services into your performance!

The talent show will be advertised in the DIA Global App and in the online agenda.

  Exhibit Hall Access
Due to a noticeable increase in complaints regarding solicitation of our exhibitors and attendees, DIA will not be offering free access hours to the Exhibit Hall at DIA 2019. If you have clients or prospects that wish to visit you in the Exhibit Hall, we encourage you to utilize the NEW and improved VIP Guest Invites program to register them.

The program is a free and convenient exhibitor resource designed to give you everything you need to promote your presence at DIA 2019 to all of your customers and prospects, while inviting them to register as your guest with exclusive discounts. Unlike the previous program, you will have the ability to send a promo code for discounted registration to your customers without sharing your customer contact list with a third party.

  DIA Show Daily Advertising
There is still time to reach DIA attendees and members daily by advertising in the official DIA Show Daily. Print issues will be actively distributed throughout the San Diego Convention Center, Sunday through Wednesday, and digital versions will be shared via email and social media.
  • Ad placements, quarter-page or larger, include the complimentary publication of one 300-word press release and image in each issue that your ad appears – doubling your reach.
  • Promote your products and services to attendees – our Product Showcase listings include 50-word description and color image. The cost is $650/product, and listings appears in all four issues.
  • Ask about the opportunity to have your marketing message appear on the four DIA Show Daily publication bins located throughout the San Diego Convention Center.

  Booth Reminders
As a reminder, all booths are required to carpet or put down flooring in their booth. If you are not providing your own flooring, carpeting may be ordered through Freeman by using the order forms included in the Freeman Online Exhibitor Services Manual. Carpeting will be forced on any booth not carpeted by noon on Sunday unless previous arrangements have been made.

Additionally, DIA provides a standard package with each 10'x10' booth that includes a 6' skirted table, 2 chairs, etc. Please complete and return the Show Package form to Freeman indicating if you wish to receive the booth package or not.

Make sure you have your Freeman orders in by Thursday, May 30, to receive incentive pricing.
  Additional Services
In addition to the standard booth services offered by Freeman, we'd also like to highlight some of the other official groups offering services to exhibitors this year. Internet, phone, and TV is provided by Smart City; Audio/Visual rentals are handled by Expert'ease; Catering services are provided by Centerplate; and lead retrieval scanner rentals are coordinated through Experient.
  Authorized Vendor List
With any exhibition there are always multiple companies and individuals to deal with – from logistics and housing to marketing and furniture orders – and it's often difficult to remember who to contact. To help you with this, we've created and Authorized Vendor List for your reference. This list provides the companies that DIA has contracted with for the DIA 2019 exhibit. Please note, as additional parties are brought on to handle various aspects of the show, the list will be updated.

We have been notified recently of a handful of unauthorized companies soliciting our exhibitors, specifically selling attendee lists. DIA does not provide our attendee data to any third-party organization to sell to exhibitors. If at any time you have doubts as to whether a company has been approved to represent or work for DIA 2019, please email DIA will not have the ability to assist you with any issues that may arise from using an unauthorized vendor.
  Exhibitor Hosted Events
As several exhibitor events have to come to our attention that were not previously known to DIA, we would like to reiterate that the DIA Event and Meeting Space Application Form must be completed for any event held in conjunction with the DIA Global Annual Meeting. This includes any function involving DIA attendees such as, but not limited to, private breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, parties, VIP suites, or other off-site events. We would also like to ensure that all Exhibitor hosted events adhere to DIA's Code of Conduct.
  Exhibit Personnel Registration
Make sure to register your staff by Thursday, June 20 in order to save time onsite!

Online Registration

We strongly encourage registration through the Online Registration System as the system identifies exactly how many full-meeting and booth personnel badges your company receives and allows you to make replacements and other changes on your own. Only those listed as an exhibit contact will be able to use their user ID and password to access the online system. Please contact with any issues or questions.

Badge Allotments – Each 10x10 booth includes 1 full meeting and 3 booth personnel badges (a 10x20 would include 2 full meeting and 6 booth personnel badges, and so on). Innovators Hub Booths include 2 booth personnel badges. Certain exhibitor marketing opportunities include additional booth personnel badges as well.

Once you've utilized the badges included with your booth and marketing package, additional staff will need to register as attendees for DIA 2019. Additional booth personnel badges are not available.
  Hotel Rooms
If you have not yet made your hotel reservations, we encourage you to book your rooms now! Please note, DIA's discounted hotel rates expire June 3. DIA will not be able to assist with San Diego hotel rates beyond this date.

DIA currently does not require hotel deposits, nor do we impose cancellation fees outside of those established by our contracted hotels. As we would like to continue with this policy, we ask that you review your current room reservations, and release any rooms that you no longer need. Should DIA experience a significant number of late exhibitor hotel room cancellations, our policy will need to change for future years.
