This session highlights Health Canada’s ongoing efforts to reduce regulatory burden, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate access to innovative therapies. Through three focused presentations, Health Canada will outline its latest red tape reduction initiatives designed to streamline processes and improve regulatory efficiency; provide an update on DataConnect, an emerging EU aligned data sharing initiative that supports smarter, more connected regulatory decision making; and share insights on oncology drug approvals under the NOC/c pathway, including how evidence generation, international reliance, and regulatory agility are being leveraged to bring promising cancer therapies to patients sooner. Together, these presentations offer a comprehensive view of how Health Canada is modernizing its regulatory approach to deliver faster, more predictable, and more efficient outcomes for patients and industry.
