David Bowers has 20+ years of experience managing pharmaceutical contact center programs at PPD. As Senior Director of Operations, David supports global medical information for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device clients. He has a background in pharmacy, with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina in the United States. During his time at PPD, David has worked with over 30 client contact center programs providing medical information, pharmacovigilance and product complaint processing, patient adherence programs, REMS support and other services. David’s recent experience includes implementing contact center operations in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Karen Takeuti, RN, MBA, is Medical Communication Lead at Bristol-Myers Squibb(BMS) in Brazil, where she has assumed medical information, publication and scientific contents. She has her background in clinical research with 10 year of experience, residency preceptor of nursing and physiotherapy in clinical research discipline, and spanned in diversified therapeutic areas. Previously she joined at BMS 7 years ago, Karen worked at Dante Pazzanese of Cardiology Institute. She has MBA in Hospital Administration and System Health and project management experience and in the 2nd year of Latam DIA MedInfo and Communication Program Committee.

Viviane is a Pfizer Medical Information Regional Lead for Latin America and Global Lead for Patient Strategy. Her 22-year trajectory at Pfizer includes a variety of experiences related to customer relationships. She worked as a frontline agent, implemented contact centers, launched innovative digital channels, and managed medical information teams in Brazil and Latin America. Based in São Paulo, Viviane loves working with her global Medical Information colleagues to help inform decisions and positively impact patients' health worldwide.

Daniella is a pharmacist, with post-graduation degrees in Hospital Management from FGV-SP and Pharmaceutical Medicine from UNIFESP. She has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries, holding multiple positions in Clinical Research, Drug Development and Medical Communications. Daniella has actively participated in the implementation, management and team building of call center and medical information programs in Brazil.

Andréia Andrade - Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry (USP), MBA (FGV) and Master in Social Psychology (UFSCar). SHe has 23 years of experience in the national and international biopharmaceutical industry in Scientific Affairs (Medical Information, Customer Service, Patient Support Programs, Customer Relationship Programs, Pharmacovigilance and Medical Communications).

Christine is the President and Founder of the IMF Latin America. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business and an MBA in Marketing and Branding from Pontifícia Universidade Catolica de São Paulo. Christine is on the Board of Directors of the International Myeloma Foundation in the US, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. As a motivational speaker, she has shared her life experience as a caregiver to her mother and a cancer survival herself. She has participated in events in Brazil, United States and Europe.

Graduated as a Pharmacist by the University of Sao Paulo. After 15 years of experience in the Medical Devices Industry, since 2013 Fabiano is an IT specialist, and responsible for the Oracle Health Sciences Global Business Unit in Latin America, taking care of the Pharma /CRO market, and also Healthcare.

Joe Pierce has worked with pharmaceutical and biotech companies since 1995, specifically in the area of medical information and medical affairs. He was VP of Sales and Marketing for Online Business Applications, leading that company’s core product IRMS, to become the most widely used medical information software solution in the industry. In 2014, Joe founded EndPoint Technologies, a business and technology consulting firm offering services in data privacy and validation, analytics and new and innovative technology solutions.

Deise has 20+ years of experience managing relationship centre, including 12 of them at Sanofi Group. Since 2006, she was responsible for implementations and management of Telesales, after sales and Virtual Medical Promotio. Currently she manages the Customer Services of Sanofi Group, Sales Force Support and Patient Support Program (Diabetes), leading projects to simplify and unify B2B, B2C and Service-desk Relationship Platforms. Deise is an administrator at FMU-SP with post graduated in Marketing at Anhembi Morumbi-SP and also at FGV-SP.

Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Physician Specialist. Implemented Office of Patient Experience at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein from 2013 to 2016 Organized the 1st Latin American Patient Experience Symposium. Chief Experience Officer at Hospital Sírio-Libanês since September 2016.

Dr. Petses is the Medical Information Regional Lead for the Americas at Sanofi US. She is responsible for management and implementation of strategic and tactical medical information objectives across several business units. She has directed teams of medical information professionals who have provided support for products across broad therapeutic areas. She has managed the development of digital communication channels and a data mining tool to improve analytics and insights gathering. Prior to joining Sanofi she completed a Drug Information Residency at Schering-Plough. She earned her Bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from St. John’s University in New York.

Elaine Menezes earned her Pharmacy and Biochemistry degree at Universidade Paulista and has an MBA in Service Marketing from Fundação Instituto de Administração. Elaine joined Pfizer (Wyeth) in 2002 as an intern. She held different positions in customer service and medical information. In her current role, Elaine leads the Medical Information team which is responsible for handling medical inquiries about Pfizer products, coming from internal and external customers. As a Medical Information Manager she has been leading initiatives to expand digital channels for patients submitting their inquiries and to share the patients' voices and needs into Pfizer.

Emanuela Saraiva is a Pharmacist, postgraduate in Marketing Services (FAAP). She is Pharmacovigilance, Customer Service and Medical Information Manager at Libbs, a Brazilian pharmaceutical industry company. Her 10-year trajectory at Libbs includes experiences related to development of customer relationship strategies through social media, patient support program implementation, and Medical Communication.

Suzete Yamashiro, Bachelor of Science, Dentistry (Universidade Estadual Paulista: ”Júlio de Mesquita Filho”- UNESP) is in charge of Medical Information Coordination at Bayer S.A., Pharma Division and participates as an active member of Interfarma (Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Research) in Medical Information Group and handled the 2014 Brazilian Medical Information Guideline as co-author. She is responsible for the electronical responses system roll-out and lead of approach campaign to Sales Force at Bayer Brazil.
