Where Google and DBpedia have been embraced by wide audiences the pharmaceutical industry is lacking behind. This session will introduce semantic interoperability and show case studies from industry.
Learning Objective : Understand the challenges related to data integration, taking into account the difference between operational data and scientific data. Understand the value of respectively a common data model and a metadata repository in solving data integration
