This session will examine the current characteristics of the regulatory intelligence function across industry and compare the evolution of the function utilizing metrics collected from surveys conducted in previous years. The session will also explore sources of global regulatory intelligence and an approach to triaging this business critical information in a company of any size.

Learning Objective : Describe current demographic trends for global regulatory intelligence (RI) functions across industry based on a recently conducted survey; Identify key deliverables for the RI function including its role in the development of regulatory strategies and influence on the external regulatory environment; Discuss an approach for gathering and triaging global regulatory intelligence.
