Project Management Basics: Creating a High-Level Project Plan

This workshop will assist attendees in the development of a high-level project plan. A work breakdown structure will be the basis for identification of key activities, durations, resources and risks. Tools and methodology will be shared.

**Due to workshop format, seating will be limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The San Diego Convention Center has stringent regulations on maximum room capacities, and they are strictly enforced. Once all seats are occupied, DIA will be required to close the workshop, and no more participants will be admitted. Interested attendees are encouraged to arrive at workshops early in order to ensure seating. Please note, as a workshop with interactivity, this offering will not be recorded.

Learning Objective : Create a work breakdown structure comprised of all the deliverables of a project for a given scope and identify the activities associated with achieving those deliverables; Sequence activities to develop a high-level schedule and identify the critical path; Identify key resources and create high-level top down/bottom up budget; Be able to perform a high-level risk assessment.
