Accelerating Research in a Large Health Care System: Streamlining Research Review and Study Initiation

Large health care systems are challenged to start up clinical trials efficiently. Addressing these organizational challenges and adopting efficient processes are key to transforming institutions into more efficient and effective clinical research sites. This interactive workshop provides practical approaches to how to implement a more effective program.
**Due to workshop format, seating will be limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The San Diego Convention Center has stringent regulations on maximum room capacities, and they are strictly enforced. Once all seats are occupied, DIA will be required to close the workshop, and no more participants will be admitted. Interested attendees are encouraged to arrive at workshops early in order to ensure seating. Please note, as a workshop with interactivity, this offering will not be recorded.
Learning Objective : Assess their programs, recognize and identify processes that constrain efficient study startup, and diagnose the problem(s); Differentiate the status quo from best practices, and create a vision for a more efficient and effective study startup program; Formulate a detailed plan to bridge the process gaps and organize a program more aligned with the needs of key stakeholders, including sponsors.
