This session will briefly review for the audience what are patient-reported outcomes and real world evidence. Speakers will then review the types of data that can be gathered, analyzed, and then communicated to patients and healthcare providers to assist in treatment decisions. Examples of how this data has been effectively communicated in a variety of channels will be provided.
Learning Objective : Identify types of patient-relevant evidence collected in the clinical development and the real-world settings; Describe how patient-reported outcomes are generated, evaluated, and communicated to assist in informed treatment decision making; Discuss strategies to educate medical information departments on the value of real world evidence and patient-reported outcomes and incorporated this data in communications.
