Objectives

This study explores how Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) improve compliance, data integrity, and business efficiency in life sciences. It highlights AI-powered DAPs, showcases real-world applications, and provides recommendations for organizations looking to optimize digital transformation.

Method

This poster analyzes digital adoption across life sciences using data from industry surveys. It evaluates AI-powered DAPs, regulatory compliance adherence, and process improvements across RIM, QMS, and Microsoft systems using real-world scenarios.

Results

Life sciences companies face challenges in compliance, data integrity, and process inefficiencies due to evolving regulations (IDMP, GxP), manual data entry, and low user adoption of digital tools. The study found that DAPs improve compliance adherence, reduce data errors, and enhance business efficiency. Key findings from industry surveys include: - Organizations using three or more DAP best practices achieved an 85% ROI on digital transformation. Enterprises lose $104M annually due to digital inefficiencies—DAPs help mitigate these losses. 28% of enterprise software applications are AI-powered, but adoption gaps persist—DAPs improve usability. - Employees lose 36 working days annually due to technology frustrations—DAPs provide in-app guidance to reduce this. Value Propositions and Demos of Real-World Scenarios will be provided: - Reducing IT Support Tickets for QMS by implementing a self-service resource menu - Immediate IDMP Data Fields Validation to prevent users from proceeding with incorrect data and comply with evolving regulatory guidance and business processes - On-Screen Guidance for Veeva Vault Reports, Microsoft PowerBI dashboards, and other systems to ensure end users are able to extract real-time data insights and update reports as needed for efficient business decision making - User Training Reminders and Notifications to ensure all users are aware of upcoming system wide changes, outages, and/or regulatory intelligence updates

Conclusion

Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) are essential for modernizing regulatory compliance, improving data integrity, and streamlining business processes in life sciences. By embedding in-platform guidance and automation, DAPs ensure IDMP and GxP compliance, reduce training time, and improve data accuracy across regulatory, quality, and enterprise systems. Findings indicate that organizations leveraging AI-powered DAPs can reduce manual effort, enhance adoption of new digital tools, and ensure data consistency across multiple platforms. As regulatory landscapes evolve, DAPs provide the flexibility to integrate with emerging technologies such as Generative AI, facilitating digital transformation in RIM, QMS, and SAP ecosystems. Recommendations: - Adopt DAPs to provide contextual guidance and reduce compliance risks. - Integrate AI-powered validation to enhance data accuracy in regulatory submissions. - Leverage automation for process efficiency in cross-functional platforms like RIM, Microsoft, and QMS. Implement real-time regulatory update notifications to ensure continuous compliance. Organizations that proactively adopt DAPs will be better positioned to handle digital transformation challenges, enhance regulatory adherence, and future-proof their operations.
