Drug Safety Regulatory Requirements


The Drug Information Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Drug Information Association has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

As an IACET Authorized Provider, Drug Information Association offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. Drug Information Association is authorized by IACET to offer .4 CEUs for this program.

This eLearning module is part of DIA’s Certificate Programs and is awarded the following:

  • Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance Certificate Program: 2 Elective Units
  • Regulatory Affairs Certificate Program: 2 Elective Units

If you successfully complete all six modules in the Drug Safety eLearning Program, the Elective Units will be converted into the required Core Units in the Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance Certificate Program.For more information go to

Statement of Credit:

After a module is completed, you will be able to access the module for one year from the date of purchase. In order to receive a statement of credit, you must complete the pre-assessment, the eLearning module, receive a passing score of 80% or better on the post-assessment, and complete the evaluation form.

In order to request your online credit through My Transcript, visit, select “Sign in” and you will be prompted for your user ID and password (if you do not know your username and password, choose Forgot Your User ID/Password). Choose MENU, found in upper left corner. Under EVENTS, select “Continuing Education”. Select the blue “My Transcript” button followed by “Credit Request”.
